Set amidst a rocky Alpine landscape, this historic mountain hotel is located at 2,165 metres above sea level on the Grimsel Pass. In 1142, the Grimsel Hospiz was the first guesthouse in Switzerland mentioned in documents. In 1932, it became the first electrically heated hotel in Europe.
